Bible Before Bedtime

Hey Bible Baddie,

If you’re here, it’s because you, like me, have been looking for a place and community to bring you closer to and deeper in the Word. Israel wasn’t complete until it was in community, and my prayer is that this Bible Study group helps complete each and every one of us — that we are made whole in His word.

The idea of ‘Bible Before Bedtime’ is to spend time in the Word before you go to bed. It can be at 5 AM, 1 PM or, my personal favorite, 11 PM — as long as you do it. There will be no fashion content or otherwise shared here.

Here are some things to know:

  • This is a SLOW Bible Study, meant to be ongoing — not a Bible-in-365-days kind of plan. Each month we’ll cover one large or a few short books of the Bible, with a theme for the time of year or season we’re in. The goal is a deep-dive, and to do this we can’t move too fast. It technically won’t be in order, but neither is the Bible. As we go, we will connect what we’re learning to what we’ve covered. We may even cover some things twice, because the Bible is deep.

  • Monthly: I’ll share the book(s) and theme for the month (before the month starts), along with a daily and weekly breakdown, so you can manage the readings and keep up with the group.

  • Weekly: We’ll do a Group Bible Study via Instagram Live or Zoom to go over the chapters assigned for that week and looking to the next week, Sundays at 8 PM. I'll send a link with the notes for the week during our group Bible Study. I want to give you all time to catch up, and let the Word reveal its message to you, before sharing notes or information.

  • Daily: I’ll share thoughts, questions, a song or something that coincides, etc. This will be via our Instagram Private Group and probably won’t be every single day, as I don’t want to bombard you with messages.

  • The group will be always open, so anyone can join. They do not have to be following me to access the Bible Study, so tell a friend to tell a friend!

  • You can use any Bible you want, and any translation you feel comfortable with. If you’d like recommendations, let me know. You can also use the Bible app on your phone. I do recommend getting a notebook to take notes or write down during your reflections, but you do you, boo!

God Bless You 💜
